Bachelor of Health Sciences - Workplace Health and Wellness (Honours)
關於課程
Using a team approach, learners will work collaboratively with one another and with faculty to apply key principles of workplace health and wellness to real-world scenarios. Our students develop the skills and techniques needed to deliver proactive, responsive, profitable and effective workplace health and wellness services within a diverse array of organizational settings.
Growing research supports the benefits and return on investment for workplace health and wellness programs, and because of this, Canadian employers are increasing their interest and investment in these initiatives. Graduates will be competitive candidates for an array of health and wellness positions. Employment opportunities exist in the non-profit, private and public sectors, and self-employment. Industries such as manufacturing and production, construction, service companies, childcare centres, long-term care facilities, health education, public health, disability management, consulting firms, and so many others are implementing health and wellness programs.
