Bachelor of Arts in Political Science - International Relations (Comparative Politics)
關於課程
Students in the major are provided internship and study abroad opportunities, including two semester-long, 15-credit hour internship programs, one in Washington, D.C., and one in Columbus, Ohio. In addition, the Department of Political Science offers study-abroad courses in multiple countries during the summer, and students often also take advantage of Kent State programs in Florence, Italy, and Geneva, Switzerland.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program will be able to:
Demonstrate critical thinking and analysis skills.
Demonstrate advanced written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrate advanced understanding of national and international issues and political systems.
Demonstrate multicultural literacy.
Demonstrate competence with quantitative statistical and qualitative analysis tools.
The International Relations-Comparative Politics concentration focuses on international policy and politics, including aid and development, energy and oil, human rights and regions of the world (e.g., Latin America, the Middle East and Russia).

Entry requirements for 肯特州立大學
New freshmen applicants must finish secondary school in their home country by the time of enrollment to be eligible for university (comparable to the completion of senior high school in the U.S.).
Secondary School Transcripts/detailed mark sheets (Certified English translation and original language)
TOEFL iBT - 71 iBT, TOEFL pBT - 525 (discontinued as of July 2017), 18 average of Revise PBT.
IELTS - 6.0
Freshmen should meet the minimum requirement of GPA ? 2.5 on a U.S. 4.0 scale.
On SAT, a minimum of 510 Evidence-based reading and writing / ACT, a minimum of 21 in English
