Entry requirements for 芝加哥大學

TOEFL - The minimum required score for the TOEFL is 104 overall, with 4 sub scores of 26 each. IELTS - Minimum required scores in the IELTS are an overall score of 7, with sub scores of 7 each. (Note: students are required to take the Academic Reading/Writing test within IELTS, not the General Training Reading/Writing test).


All programs require the following materials:

15–20 page writing sample
a statement of purpose (exception: Visual Arts),
3 letters of recommendation,
transcripts for all previous degrees and coursework,
GRE test scores from within the preceding 5 years
The Division of the Humanities does not have minimum required GRE scores or GPA to be considered for admissions. Average GRE scores and GPA vary from department to department, so it is best to contact individual departments with this question.
