Master of Science in Pharmacology

Build on your bachelor?s degree in pharmacy, biochemistry, or biology to advance your career in pharmacology examining the diseases that affect us. This two- to three-year program, which takes place on the Boston and Worcester campuses, builds on your existing bachelor?s degree in pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, or a related field. You will have the opportunity to work alongside academic and industry experts to learn how to fully research the pharmacological actions of synthetic and naturally occurring compounds, leading to improved drug design. Theoretical and experiential situations help you develop an innovative and creative approach to problem solving, so you?ll be ready to advance your career. You also have the option of enrolling in our non-thesis Master of Pharmacology program. This four-semester choice will provide you with the in-depth knowledge you need in physiology and drug actions. Both programs begin in the fall. Our health-focused curriculum prepares you for roles at the frontlines of drug and animal testing in the pharmaceutical industry. You will work side-by-side with globally respected faculty working on targeting novel disease treatments.
