The department?s cardiovascular engineering research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Areas of active research include the engineering of completely biological cardiovascular tissues for regenerative-medicine applications, the treatment and study of lymphatic disorders, and the study of calcification within the cardiovascular system.
The graduate programs in biomedical engineering at Michigan Tech provide a research-intensive education integrating the engineering sciences with biomedical science and clinical practice

Entry requirements for 密西根理工大學

To be considered for admission to the Graduate School as a degree- or certificate-seeking student, you need to:
have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution, and
be prepared for advanced study in your chosen field, as demonstrated by your previous degree and your scholastic record.
Official Transcripts- Certified copies of your previous college/university transcripts are required to begin the application review.
3 Letters of Recommendation (waived for Michigan Tech Biomedical Undergrads)

Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher for PhD and 3.0 or higher for Master's on a 4.0 scale
GRE: Recommended 160 Quantitative, 153 Verbal, 3.0 or higher Analytical Writing (Michigan Tech students are exempt)
