The Master of International Studies (MIS) is a professional degree program that prepares students for exciting careers in government service, international institutions and non-governmental organizations.
The program combines a core curriculum with a 15-hour regional, topical, professional or technical specialization. Upon graduation, most students move into jobs in government service, nonprofit management, higher education student services and the private sector.
The strength of the program is its diversity of faculty from various disciplines and small class size. The richness of the student body from many countries around the world enhances learning.

Entry requirements for 北卡羅萊納州立大學
IELTS Academic-6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score)
TOEFL IBT-80 or higher (minimum of 18 in each sub score)
TOEFL Paper Based-550 or higher.
To be considered for admission in full graduate standing, applicants must have:
(a) a four-year bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university. Exceptions to standard accreditation may be granted for applicants with international degrees, including applicants with three-year degrees from institutions in Europe participating in the Bologna Process.
(b) a GPA of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) in their undergraduate degrees.

Transcripts from all colleges/universities attended-
Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
GRE scores- A minimum of 300 on the combined verbal and quantitative component is expected, with a minimum of 4.0 on the analytical writing component.
Three letters of recommendation to include a minimum of one academic reference
English proficiency for International students can be determined by either the TOEFL iBT (NC State minimum of 80, expectation of 100 for MIS applicants) or IELTS (NC State minimum of 6.5).
Prior to being fully admitted, international students must submit a Certificate of Financial Responsibility form that confirms the availability of funds to cover all expenses of the student and accompanying dependents.
