Entry requirements for 北卡羅萊納州立大學

IELTS Academic-6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score)
TOEFL IBT-International applicants must also have a TOEFL score of 80
TOEFL Paper Based-550 or higher.
To be considered for admission in full graduate standing, applicants must have:
(a) a four-year bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university. Exceptions to standard accreditation may be granted for applicants with international degrees, including applicants with three-year degrees from institutions in Europe participating in the Bologna Process.
(b) a GPA of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) in their undergraduate degrees.
An application form filled out on-line. This includes contact information, previous degrees, etc.
A transcript from each institution of post-secondary academic work. One unofficial transcript from each institution should be submitted on-line. If accepted and enrolled, official transcripts will be required later.
Three letters of recommendation. The applicant provides email addresses for letter writers to the application system. The letters should be submitted on-line directly by the letter writers.
GRE scores from the general test. The GRE scores are available from ETS only for 5 years. GRE subject test scores in mathematics may also be submitted but are not required. Official score reports should be sent directly from the testing service (e.g., ETS). The department does not have a minimum required GRE score.
English proficiency scores (TOEFL or IELTS) may be required according to the rules set by the graduate school. TOEFL iBT scores are preferred. The graduate school sets the minimum acceptable scores. Again, official score reports are required.
A written statement (personal statement) describing your academic and career goals, as well as special interests in the area of statistics. The statement should not exceed 2 pages and should be uploaded on-line.
A resume or curriculum vita is recommended. It must be uploaded on-line.
An application fee paid on-line.
If may take up to 3 weeks for your online materials submission to be reviewed and marked complete. Please do not inquire whether materials have been received, you will be notified if required materials have not been received.
