Teachers in the earliest grades provide a solid foundation for lifelong learning, how can you make a difference in the life of a child Completing your degree and earning certification in Childhood Education and Special Education will enable you to make a lasting impact on young students by teaching in general, special education, and inclusive classrooms for grades 1–6. The master of science for teachers (MST) graduate degree programs are the choice for professionals and college graduates who want to become teachers, but do not hold an undergraduate degree in education. Become prepared to work with students who have disabilities. Deepen your knowledge about the characteristics of typical and atypical learners. Learn how to effectively use inclusive practices and differentiated instruction for students with special needs and learning styles.

如何申請
Entry requirements for 佩斯大學
Candidates for the MST in Childhood and Childhood Special Education must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. (Upon the recommendation of the dean, graduate faculty admissions committee, or the director of Student Support Services, candidates whose GPA is less than 3.0 may be admitted on a conditional basis, provided that it is determined that the candidate has the necessary knowledge and skills to complete the program successfully.) Childhood-level candidates must have majored in the liberal arts and sciences or its equivalent. All candidates must meet additional liberal arts and sciences course requirements mandated by New York State. The GRE is also required.
