關於課程
The Media and Culture Concentration equips students with a range of analytical and practical skills through courses on media and democracy, propaganda, and human rights as well as documentary film production, video production and advocacy for NGOs, social media, and photography. Students can also take courses in the university’s School of Media Studies.
The concentration provides a broad range of opportunities for research and practice, both through the extraordinary range of non-profit and intergovernmental organizations and major media institutions located in New York City, and through media-focused International Field Program sites.

Entry requirements for 新學院
Unofficial Transcripts: Applicants must upload an unofficial transcript, mark sheet, or academic record for each institution (even if you didn’t receive a degree) in the Educational Background section of the online application. Official Transcripts: Applicants offered admission will be required to submit official transcripts (as well as official certified translations and evaluations of the transcripts/mark sheets and degree certifications if the degree was earned outside of the United States) to The New School. Admitted applicants must submit all official transcripts pertaining to their entire academic career. Two academic/professional recommendation letters are required for all degree applicants. Resume, Statement of Purpose, Please submit an 8-12-page academic writing sample in English. . The minimum score required for TOEFL (IB) is 92, for IELTS is 7.0, Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university by the time of enrollment.
