關於課程
Our Biomedical Science degree enables you to explore the sciences related to medicine and in particular, the specialist disciplines of diagnostic Biomedical Science as practised in Health Service Laboratories. Our degree is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science and is aimed at students wishing to pursue a career in diagnostic laboratory science as biomedical scientists within the NHS, research or management careers in the pharmaceutical industries or academic research.
Global Opportunities
The School has established links with the University of Nevada in Reno, USA. Students are given the opportunity to work in the research laboratories for a year between second and final year.

Entry requirements for Queen's University Belfast - INTO UK
A level requirements
AAB + GCSE Mathematics grade B/6
Irish leaving certificate requirements
H2H3H3H3H3H3 + if not offered at Higher Level then Ordinary Level grade O3 in Mathematics
Access Course
Successful completion of Access Course with an average of 75%. GCSE Mathematics grade B/6 or equivalent in Access Course.
International Baccalaureate Diploma
34 points overall, including 6,6,5 at Higher Level. If not offered at Higher Level/GCSE then Standard Level grade 4 in English and Standard Level grade 5 in Mathematics would be accepted.
BTEC Level 3 Extended/National Extended Diploma
QCF Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma (180 credits), with 140 credits at Distinction grade and 40 credits at Merit grade.
RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma (1080 Guided Learning Hours (GLH)), with at least 780 GLH at Distinction grade (minimum 240 GLH to be externally assessed) and 300 GLH at Merit grade.
Graduate
A minimum of a 2:1 Honours Degree
An IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each test component or an equivalent acceptable qualification
The TOEFL Paper Based Test (PBT) is no longer accepted.
toefl ibt 90 with minimum marks as follows:
Listening - 17
Reading - 18
Speaking - 20
Writing - 17
