Be a part of Queen Mary’s dynamic research community and investigate the policies that matter in this challenging MRes programme. Focus your attention on critical analytical skills, delve into key issues affecting the current political landscape and hold a lense to the most recent and exciting developments in world politics. This pre-doctoral training programme is taught in conjunction with the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS DTP) and is an approved pathway for ESRC 1 plus 3 PhD studentship funding. This makes the International Relations MRes an ideal springboard for advancement into a research-related role, or to continue on to further study.
This engaging research programme provides a sophisticated theoretical and applied understanding of international relations. It aims to provide you with advanced skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods and delves into specialised topics such as war and security, globalisation and development and US foreign policy.

Entry requirements for 倫敦大學瑪莉皇后學院
A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in Politics or a related discipline.
English Requirements
IELTS: a minimum overall score of 7.0 including a minimum of 6.5 in Writing, and no less than 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking.
TOEFL: a minimum overall score of 100 including a minimum of 24 in Writing, and no less than 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking.
