The Masters of Science (MS) in Interdisciplinary Marine and Estuarine Sciences (IMES) program is an interdisciplinary program offered at San Francisco State University (SF State) by the College of Science and Engineering, based at the Estuary & Ocean Science Center, Romberg Tiburon Campus. This program is based on the National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) Research Intensive Pedagogical Training of Interdisciplinary Estuarine Scientists (RIPTIDES) which is the first NRT award made entirely to a stand-alone Masters training program. Faculty mentors in the program are from a range of Departments including Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Physics, Geography & Environment, Earth & Climate Sciences, Public Administration, and the College of Ethnic Studies.

Entry requirements for 舊金山州立大學

To meet the minimum eligibility standards for graduate study at SF State, an applicant must: hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution, or shall have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by the appropriate campus authority, be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended, have a 3.0 GPA in their earned undergraduate degree or in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units completed, or have earned a post-baccalaureate degree, and The Division of Graduate Studies minimum TOEFL, IELTS scores - TOEFL : 550 Total score on the paper based test OR 80 Overall score on the internet based test (iBT TOEFL) OR IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5
