Entry requirements for 希爾克學院

English 12 with C+ or higher or equivalent. For international applicants, IELTS 6.0 overall band score with no band below 5.5, or equivalent on other internationally recognized English Language Proficiency Tests. Foundations of Math 12 or Pre-calculus 11 with C+ or higher or equivalent. Mature applicants without the above qualifications for full-time study are encouraged to arrange an interview with the Business Program Advisor or designate to discuss admission to the program. An assessment will be made of the applicant's ability to complete the program based on work experience, studies undertaken since leaving school, an assessment tool, and the results of the interview.
Admission to the program requires the completion of English 12 with a grade of C or better or written permission of the Instructor and School Chair.
. A letter of intent.
All applicants need -
completion of BC English 12, or equivalent, or
completion, with a grade of C+ or better, advanced core courses in the Selkirk College English Language Program and Provincial Level English 51, or
submission of a TOEFL score of IBT 80 or better, or
submission of an IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual band less than 5.5 or better, or
submission of an acceptable score on the Language Proficiency Index score of 4 or better.
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent with a C or better in ENGL 12.
Prior music and band training is a definite asset.
Mature students without the above qualifications may be considered for admission following an interview.
International students may apply for admission under the College's international education admissions policy.
