There has been increasing demand for the stream on Health and Safety & Ergonomics, as expressed by the Irish Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. There is growing demand in Ireland for health and professionals Ergonomics and Human Factors skills, in particular at masters level.
The objectives of the MSc. programme are to provide students with:
a framework for lifelong learning,
skills necessary to critically evaluate cutting-edge scientific and technical developments related to safety and ergonomics,
in-depth understanding and knowledge in their chosen specialised discipline area,

Entry requirements for 都柏林理工學院
An honours bachelor degree (2.2 grade or higher) or equivalent in a Science, Engineering, Technology, Construction, Environmental Health or related discipline. Eligible candidates may be interviewed.
This MSc level programme, routinely engages in class based discussions using real life scenarios covering a wide variety of knowledge domains including law, engineering, science and psychology. Presentation skills are therefore required as candidates will be expected to debate with their colleagues and lecturers on a wide variety of risk related issues.
Students will also need to show excellent communication skills within a risk related work environment. Accordingly, it will be expected that international student applicants will have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 or better, with strong evidence of fluency in written and spoken English gained through their professional experience.
