Digital marketing is a broad term that refers to various promotional techniques deployed to reach customers via digital technologies. Digital marketing is embodied by an extensive selection of service, product and brand marketing tactics, which mainly use the internet as a core promotional medium, in addition to mobile and traditional television and radio. One of the fastest growing arms of digital media is that of social media and its growing social networks. A recent report has identified digital marketing as one of the few industries that has more jobs than qualified candidates. Following on from this the European Commission has predicted that there are 900,000 unfilled digital jobs across Europe.

Entry requirements for Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest
Bachelor of Business in Digital Marketing or a Bachelor of Business which has a significant digital marketing element.
Undergraduate programmes: Minimum IELTS 5.5 with no Band less than 5.0.
Letter of recommendation from appropriate Head of Department of own institution
Any other relevant information regarding qualifications or previous work experience.
