Entry requirements for 德州農工大學

Official GRE Scores- Official GRE Scores should be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service to Texas A&M University and be from a test date within five years of the date the application form reached the Office of Admissions. Use code 6003 for reporting GRE scores (Department code not needed).
Official Transcripts- To ensure that your official transcripts and other supporting documents are processed in a timely and efficient manner, please include the appropriate Document ID Sheet with all documents you submit in support of your application.
Statement of Purpose- The statement of purpose (also known as a “personal statement”) should describe your reasons for applying to the Doctoral Program in Sociology at Texas A&M University. This document is not to exceed two pages in length (single-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, 1-inch margins).
Three (3) Letters of Reommendation
Curriculum Vitae (C.V.)/Resume- Graduate applicants are required to submit a either a Resume or Curriculum Vitae to their departments.
Writing Sample- The Department of Sociology requires a writing sample from all applicants to the Ph.D. Program. The Admissions Committee will be looking for original work giving evidence of both writing ability and the capacity for research, analysis, and original thought at the graduate level.
Official TOEFL Scores (international students only)
TOEFL - 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT) or 80 internet-based testing (i-BT). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall band.
