Entry requirements for 德州農工大學

To successfully apply for admission, prospective students must submit all of the following materials by the deadline respective to their expected semester of entry into Graduate Studies:

A completed common application for admission through ApplyTexas with the accompanying essay and application fee
Official transcripts – an official copy of a transcript from each undergraduate and graduate degree-granting institution you have attended. All transcripts must be in English, or have a certified translation provided
Official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and TOEFL (if applicable) scores– an official score report from ETS documenting the GRE General Test (Quantitative, Verbal, and Analytical Writing) scores for the test(s) taken within the last five years. When applicable, students must also provide valid TOEFL scores from ETS. The institution code is 6003, with no department code necessary
A Resume or CV and a personal statement of interest in biomedical science
Letters of Recommendation – provide a minimum of three letters of recommendation from individuals who are familiar with your academic achievement and potential.
For consideration of admission to a PhD or MS Thesis Option program in the CVM, prospective students must have a minimum of baccalaureate degree (or its equivalent) awarded from an accredited institution of higher education prior to the beginning of the first semester of coursework for the degree program. Satisfactory scores on the verbal and quantitative portions of the Graduate Record Examinations are required in addition to a strong coursework foundation in the sciences. Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit proof of English proficiency.
GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) with a strong performance in upper-level science courses.

a TOEFL score of at least 80 on TOEFL iBT (550 paper-based), or
an IELTS score of at least 6.0, or
a GRE Verbal Reasoning score of at least 146 (400 on the old scale), or
a GMAT Verbal score of at least 22, or
