The Bachelor of Healthcare Administration degree with a major in healthcare administration (BHA) integrates healthcare management theory and practice, and prepares graduates to assume entry to entry-level management positions in a variety of healthcare settings. These settings include health maintenance organizations (HMO), physician group practice, hospitals, insurance companies, clinics, and medical offices. Healthcare administrators manage employees, prepare and maintain budgets, procure resources and perform other administrative functions so that the clinical professionals can provide their services. The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Health Sciences (BS-HS) is critical to meet the increasing demand for health managers. Health managers are key to the delivery of healthcare services, as they run the day-to-day operations in the healthcare arena to allow clinicians to see patients.

Entry requirements for 德州州立大學
First-time college applicants are required to graduate or have graduated from a foreign secondary school with an academic profile equivalent to that of a U.S. high school curriculum.
Graduate with the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.
When reviewing your application, Texas State will consider your high school curriculum, admission essay(s), extracurricular involvement, leadership, community service, work experience, quality and competitive level of courses taken and grades earned, in addition to other factors presented in your application.
We strongly encourage anyone who is not offered freshman admission to attend another college, complete 30 hours of transferable credit with a minimum GPA of a 2.25, and apply for transfer admission.
IELTS (academic) - overall scores required 6.5 and minimum individual module scores of 6.0
TOEFL iBT - overall scores 78
