Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) - Global Management and Innovation

If you have achieved consistently high grades in your Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent) you could be eligible for the honours programme. It will provide you with an additional 120 points of postgraduate research-based study to develop your analytical skills and critical thinking. You will complete a set of advanced courses in the discipline and a short supervised dissertation or project that will demonstrate your independent research skills. Your honours programme structure and courses will depend on the specialisation selected. Global organisations, local businesses and leading universities recognise the relevance of our postgraduate curriculum, making our graduates sought after. Our Business School ASB Careers Centre will help get your career in business off to a strong start. You can access programmes, workshops and one-on-one support. You will be given opportunities to network with employers to increase your knowledge of the local business environment.

Global Management and Innovation (GLMI) is a specialisation in the MCom that reflects the multidisciplinary nature of management practice. This specialisation aims to equip managers to operate in a global context, pursuing innovative solutions for organisational and societal challenges and identifying new opportunities. Develop your ability to create, manage, sustain and change organisations through integrated courses on international management, the global competitive environment, management in diverse and uncertain contexts, and innovation and creativity.
