The Office of Admissions requires official transcripts of all college-level course work. To be considered official, transcripts must arrive in sealed envelopes from each institution you attended.
Results of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Please request Educational Testing Services, who administer the GRE, to send scores to UAF, school code 4866.
Resume/Vitae
Include work and research experience, publications, patents, honors, and professional memberships.
Statement of Academic Goals
The minimum TOEFL score required for admission is 79. The minimum IELTS score required for admission is 6.5.
Prepare a carefully written Statement of Graduate and Research Interests and Professional Goals, which should be at least two pages long. It should give details of your specific scientific interests, your personal background as it has shaped your interests, and your professional goals. Explain what areas of molecular science you are interested in. Finally, and most importantly, point out research areas of specific UAF professors that appeal to you.
Letters of Recommendation
Send at least three letters of recommendation from those able to vouch for the applicant's academic work, character and ability to undertake graduate study and research.
