Our MSc Electric Vehicle Technology: January Start is a multi-disciplinary programme designed to take you from your bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical or automotive engineering and prepare you for a career developing the next generation of electric vehicles or associated technologies. Written with industry collaboration, our dedicated, knowledgeable team will cover the key areas needed to make you stand out to employers. We’ll concentrate on advanced topics such as electric machines, energy storage systems, smart sensors, automotive networks and communications protocols, and control systems.
The course is designed to address all the competencies set out by the Engineering Council and UK-SPEC and to support you to achieve professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). So, if you are an ambitious engineering graduate or a professional engineer seeking to develop an advanced understanding of electric vehicle technology, this master’s degree should prove an excellent investment in your future.

如何申請
Entry requirements for University of Bolton
Normally, you should have at least a lower second class honours degree (2.2) in a relevant subject, for instance, a BSc (Hons) or BEng (Hons) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
If you have alternative equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience, then we’ll be happy to consider your application and may invite you for an interview or request a portfolio of work.
IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band (or equivalent).
TOEFL (ibt) - an overall score of 80 for Postgraduate including 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
English language requirements
