Master of Applied Science in Forestry

Entry requirements for 英屬哥倫比亞大學

For applicants with Canadian or USA credentials, we require the equivalent of a four-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall average in the B+ range in third- and fourth-year courses. Admission to the Master of Applied Science (MASc) program requires an academic background in applied science or engineering.

The minimum TOEFL internet-based score required for a Forestry graduate program application is 100, with a minimum score in each component: Reading – 23, Writing – 24, Listening – 23, Speaking – 22.
For IELTS, a minimum overall band score of 7.0 is required, with a minimum score of 6.5 in each component of the academic (NOT general) test.
You must scan and upload one digital copy (.pdf) of each of your official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you have attended or taken courses at. We require three (3) letters of recommendation from academic sources. Provide a brief letter (1-2 pages) that describes your research interests and academic and career goals. Provide an up-to-date CV that summarizes, in the following order, your education (degrees, diplomas, continuing education), academic and professional awards, achievements, honours, or other distinctions you have received, work experience, professional certifications, volunteer experience, recreational pursuits.
