Entry requirements for 康乃狄克大學

All materials are to be submitted to the University of Connecticut via the online application system. These materials include:

Online application (Graduate Application)
University of Connecticut application fee ($75.00)
For those whose first language is not English, Official TOEFL scores are required if applicant has not attended an English speaking university
Unofficial academic transcripts from ALL universities attended – DO NOT send official transcripts directly to the university. These are not required until after an offer of admission has been granted.
Official GRE scores (UConn GRE code is 3915)
Three letters of recommendation that are uploaded into on-line application system
Personal statement (no more than 2 pages) outlining why you have chosen this career and would like to attend UConn
If not a native speaker of English, a TOEFL score of 550 paper-based, 207 computer-based or 79 internet-based or better is required. If the non-native speaker of English applicant is to hold a teaching assistantship, he or she must also pass Pearson’s Versant™ English test (Phone Pass) with an overall score of 65+.
Receiving a minimum overall score of 6.5 or higher on the IELTS
Your transcripts must show that you have met the following criteria:

A cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 for your entire undergraduate career or
A grade-point average of at least 3.0 for your last two undergraduate years or
Exceptional work in your entire final undergraduate year (3.5 or better)
Graduate work with a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or better even if the undergraduate grade-point average meets the above criteria.
