Master of Science in Athletic Training
關於課程
The program is designed for students who currently hold a bachelor’s degree and aspire to become athletic trainers. The Masters Program is a 53-credit program completed in 2 years beginning at the end of May of every year.
Students who choose UConn have the chance to learn and interact with faculty that are leading experts in the field.
Students graduating from the MSAT program are eligible to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) examination. Once a student successfully passes the BOC examination, they are eligible to apply for athletic training licensure.
The University of Connecticut athletic training program has over a 90% pass rate of students who take the exam. Learn more about student outcomes and the program's accreditation status from the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).

Request 3 Letters of Recommendation
Provide a Statement of Interest and Professional Goals. The statement is important aspect of the application, as it is the chance for the program faculty to learn more about you and your reasons for applying to the program. The statement should define your characteristics as a person and a future health care provider. The MS in Athletic Training program is rigorous and time intensive, thus students are encouraged to reflect on their strengths and ability to succeed.
Receiving minimum scores of 79 (Internet-based test - iBT), 550 ( Old Paper-based test - PBT) or 22/30 on each of the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections (“New” Paper-based test- PBT) or higher on the TOEFL test.
Receiving a minimum score of 6.5 or higher on the IELTS test.
English language requirements
