關於課程
Biomedical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to human biology and medicine, to solve challenges in the healthcare industry. This could be the development of surgical devices, improvements to medical instrumentation, or discovering new techniques in medical imaging.
On this Biomedical Engineering course, you'll learn from engineers, scientists, and clinicians. This gives you a solid understanding of how engineering improves patient care, whilst having the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a clinical environment – learning about the anatomy and functions of the human biology.
You’ll gain an all-rounded understanding of where and how the technologies you develop will be used, and will learn about design, optics, instrumentation, and medical sciences. You'll also develop research and business management skills within the biomedical industry.
