This course offers the opportunity for students with undergraduate degrees in relevant subjects, such as biological sciences or psychology, to convert their studies to the neuroscience field and acquire the knowledge and skills required for a career in neuroscience.
You will be taught by non-clinical and clinical neuroscientists, internationally-renowned researchers exploring topics that range from molecular to behavioural neuroscience. You will have access to well-equipped laboratories and the opportunity to experience cutting-edge research techniques.
Whether you have a background in neuroscience or not, this course can be tailored to suit you. The first module, Foundations in Neuroscience, covers the fundamentals enabling you to develop an understanding of important concepts.
If you already have knowledge of the fundamentals of neuroscience, we offer the opportunity to explore specific topics in more detail, including optional modules in psychology.
Core modules throughout the course will cover topics such as:
research methods and statistics
mechanisms of memory formation
neurodegenerative disorders
neurobiology of mental health
addiction
pain
They will also cover the exciting technologies used in contemporary neuroscience research.
Following the taught component of the course, we will support you to develop and complete a four-month research project that aligns with your longer-term career goals.

Entry requirements for 鄧迪大學
IELTS:- 6.0 overall, including at least 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in the other three components
TOEFL iBT:- 78 overall, including at least 19 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 18 in Speaking, 23 in Writing
Students should have a 2.2 Honours BSc or above (or a suitable qualification) in a relevant mathematical discipline.
