You will learn to consider the interplay between spatial design and social, economic, environmental and political issues evident in a range of urban settings. Taught with an interdisciplinary approach to the development of urban form, the programme is not limited to those with architecture or urban planning backgrounds – it is relevant to anyone interested in understanding the nature and production of spaces.

Note: For students from this programme who need degree verifications from the Ministry of Education of China, the degree verification only indicates the degree title “Urban Planning “, without the specialisation in brackets.

Entry requirements for 利物浦大學
Undergraduate Background - Bachelor Degree (UK 2:1 or equivalent) in a relevant field, such as: urban planning and design, architecture, geography, economics, management, environmental science, social and public policy. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in other fields will be assessed on a case by case basis
CHINA:
211 Project, Top 100 of 2020 Shanghai Ranking-75 percent or above (Weighted Average Mark)
Non 211 project, Non Top 100 of 2020 Shanghai ranking-80-85 percent or above (Weighted Average Mark), depending on your undergraduate institution
UK:
UK upper second class honours (2:1) or equivalent
NORTH AMERICA:
3.0 Cumulative GPA (out of 4) or
3.2 Cumulative GPA in the final two years of your undergraduate programme
IELTS 6.5 (5.5 in all skills) or TOEFL 90 (21 in all skills) or equivalent
English language requirements
