Professor John Ellershaw is the Director of the Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute Liverpool. This is a partnership between Marie Curie, the University of Liverpool and the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The main areas of research are care of dying, ethics and medical education.

Entry requirements for 利物浦大學
Applicants for postgraduate research study at Liverpool are normally expected to hold a UK first degree with a First Class or Upper Second Class degree classification, or a Second Class degree plus a Master’s degree. Equivalent international qualifications are also accepted, and their equivalence will be evaluated on the basis of the information provided by the National Academic Recognition and Information Centre (NARIC) as well as internal guidance based on our experience of a qualification’s suitability as a preparation for our programmes.
To complete the online application, you'll need: School or college transcripts/ certificates, University transcripts, Degree certificates, School of Histories, Languages and Cultures require: Ielts - 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each component. If IELTS requirement 6.5 with 6.0 in all bands then TOEFL IBT requirement is min 88 overall with 21-Listening, Writing, 22-Reading, 23-Speaking. 88 with minimum band scores of Listening 21, Writing 21, Reading 22, Speaking 23
