Entry requirements for 麻州大學阿默斯特分校
Applicants are expected to show evidence of applied social justice experience, at least one semester of which is supervised. Examples might include classroom teaching, peer education programs, mediation teams, residence assistants, or community outreach programs. Applicants may also have certification in teaching, school counseling, and special education or school administration. Evidence of at least one full year's work experience in a social justice-related area beyond the bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
Personal statement describing the applicant's prior experience with social justice education, professional objectives relevant to social justice education, and a description of what they hope to achieve through completion of the master’s program

Applicants must complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned. The minimum scores are 550 for the paper-based TOEFL test and 80 for the computer-based TOEFL test, 6.5 for the IELTS. Students are required to submit an explanation that address any grades falling below a letter grade B or a GPA of 3.0 by US standards.
