The M.A. in Geography prepares students for positions in government, non-governmental organizations, and business. The program was carefully designed to serve domestic and international students who have at least one of the following goals:
Qualifying for jobs in the private or government sector that require greater expertise in geographical tools than is provided by an undergraduate degree.
Obtaining the background in geography and geospatial technology required to gain admission to a high-quality geography or multidisciplinary doctoral program.
Studying geography to complement another area of expertise (law, political science, public health, statistics, energy, marketing, sociology, finance, business, etc.).

如何申請
Entry requirements for 邁阿密大學
Transcripts* of all previously completed undergraduate and graduate work. Photocopies of transcripts are acceptable, but, if you are admitted and decide to attend, official transcripts will be required. However, all International Applications received by our department are first forwarded to the office of International Admissions for review. International Admissions requires that official transcripts be provided for the review process as well as Certified English Translations (when applicable). Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores that are no more than five years old, with a minimum expected score of 1100. The department code for the GRE is 2203. Three letters of recommendation. International applicants whose native language is not English must also submit results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), with a minimum expected score of 600 (250).
