English for Academic Purposes

This highly-interactive six-week intensive English experience has been specifically designed for undergraduate and graduate students who have been accepted to the University of Michigan or another U.S. university for the fall term. You will learn and practice the language skills you need to participate effectively in classes, seminars, and labs. You will also learn about the culture of the U.S. university environment in order to transition smoothly into your academic program. You will continue learning outside the classroom through unique community-based learning opportunities in which you will gain insight into U.S. culture and practice communicating with a diverse range of Americans. You will also make friends and get to know the Ann Arbor area.
