The MA program participates in the collaborative program in Feminist and Gender Studies at the master's level.
The Master of Arts in Education Program (MA) is intended for candidates who wish to undertake research in a specific domain of educational studies. It is offered in the following five concentrations: Counselling psychology, Health professions education
Leadership, evaluation, curriculum and policy studies, Societies, cultures and languages, Studies in teaching and learning

The Collaborative program in Feminist and Gender Studies at the master's level is designed for students from selected disciplines in arts, education, health sciences, law, social sciences, and counselling and spirituality (Saint Paul University), who have an interest in feminist and gender studies. These students have the opportunity to combine advanced studies in their primary program with analyses from a feminist and gender studies perspective. The degree awarded is a master's degree in the primary program with a specialization in Feminist and Gender Studies.
This program provides teachers with opportunities to enhance their teaching skills in order to add to their Basic Qualifications other Qualifications recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
Teachers can take Additional Qualification Courses (AQ Courses) to upgrade and gain qualifications in a certain teaching division or subject area or The purpose of Additional Basic Qualification (ABQ) courses to expand your knowledge of program development, delivery, and assessment in a specific division.

Candidates holding an honours bachelor's degree in education or equivalent, with a minimum overall undergraduate average of 70% (B), may be admitted directly to the master's program, except for the Counselling Psychology concentration
