Master of Science in Nursing - Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

We prepare acute care nurse practitioners for the management of patients with specialized health care needs. You’ll develop expertise in physical assessment, complex clinical decision making, diagnostic and interventional procedures, prescriptive knowledge, and patient care management across the continuum of acute care services, from critical care to discharge to the patient’s transition back into their community.You’ll have the opportunity to focus in general surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, neurosurgery, oncology, trauma, and many other specialty areas as well as concentrate your work on populations of special interest, such as the underserved or minority health.

如何申請
Entry requirements for 賓州大學
All applicants must have completed a BSN at an accredited college or university and a statistics course. Generally speaking, competitive applicants have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their BSN program. Applicants who have completed their BSN program in the United States with a GPA of 3.2 or greater on a 4.0 scale are eligible to have the GRE requirement waived.A minimum score of 100 on the TOEFL is required. The expected breakdown is as follows: Reading 26, Listening 26, Speaking 23 (26 is preferred), Writing 25. For the IELTS, a minimum combined score of 7.0 is required, with each subsection having scores of at least 7.0. Please report your TOEFL code to institution code 2996.
