This unique program offers a variety of courses, language and cultural experiences in French, and work placements (20 weeks) through which students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to teach in modern French as a second language classrooms. This program also offers students the opportunity to focus their studies at the primary / elementary (K-6) and intermediate / secondary (7-12) levels. Students must successfully complete all courses in order to obtain a Bachelor of Education - French as a Second Language. the location and size of the university, the reputation of our program, and the specializations we offer: International Education, Indigenous Education and Adult Education. This answer illustrates the strengths of our program and the options available to our students. UPEI is one of the most avant-garde universities in Canada. The Faculty of Education offers a program where each individual is mentored, monitored and supported. In addition, it provides an environment where each individual is encouraged to fully participate in the program and to take risks while being respected, valued and included. The close connection between faculty and students is often cited as the most important aspect of the education program at UPEI. Also, students of the Faculty of Education are encouraged to think critically and creatively about the goals and practice of education both locally and globally.

Entry requirements for 艾德華王子島大學
The Bachelor of Education?fran?ais langue seconde is a 12-month post-degree program consisting of 60 credit hours in Education with the program commencing in May of each year. This program is designed to provide the variety of courses and extended field experiences through which students can develop the knowledge and skills needed to teach in the modern classroom. It provides the opportunity for students to focus their studies in Primary/Elementary (grades K-6), or Intermediate/Senior (grades 7-12), and International, Indigenous, or Adult Education.
Admission requirements
The general requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Education (fran?ais langue seconde) are:
Applicants must have completed the requirements for their undergraduate degree from an approved registered university and have the degree conferred before June 30.
Applicants must have an overall average of not less than 70% (at least between C+ and B-) computed on the 20 highest grades of the last 22 courses (3 semester hours of credit each). Applicants who have an average of less than 70% may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Graduate study may be taken into consideration for admission requirements.
Applicants must have at least 6 semester hours in French (at least 3 semester hours in a writing-intensive course in any discipline).
Applicants must submit results from a French Language Proficiency Test (DELF Tout Public (level B2) examination and achieve an overall score of at least 70%, with no less than 60% in any one skill area) before admission to the specialization is confirmed.
International Baccalaureate - Completion of the IB Diploma with a score of 24
IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5 with 6.5 in writing no other band below 6.
TOEFL paper-based test - 550 with minimum TWE of 5.5.
TOEFL internet-based test - 80 with minimum of 20 in each category.
