The School Counseling/Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential program prepares counselors to address the social, cultural, emotional, and academic needs of children and youth in multicultural urban schools. School Counseling students simultaneously engage in justice-oriented coursework and field-based practice to enhance their translation of theory into action and promote equitable conditions inside and outside of schools. Our program focuses on humanizing counseling practice, advocacy, development, systems change, and program development and evaluation.
The Masters in School Counseling program seeks to improve the human condition by training counselors to become social justice agents of change who promote equitable conditions inside and outside of schools.

如何申請
Entry requirements for 舊金山大學
One set of unofficial transcripts from each university/college previously attended. For U.S. applicants, the degree must be from a regionally accredited university/college. An applicant with a pending degree must provide official verification of expected degree completion from institution's Registrar or school official. An undergraduate degree is required to apply to a master's program. A master's degree is required to apply for a doctoral program. Please note: if admitted you will need to submit official transcripts prior to enrolling.
Applicants must have earned their Bachelor's and/or Masters' degrees from a regionally accredited institution. They must provide a background of academic preparation and/or professional experience that demonstrates their ability to pursue graduate level programs.
Recommended GPA of 2.75.
IELTS - 7.0, TOEFL (IBT) - 92, TOEFL (PBT) - 580, PTE - 62
