The Food and Nutrition research group brings together a multidisciplinary group of academics, researchers and PhD students all conducting research related to food and nutrition in the public health section of ScHARR. It consists of nutritionists, dietitians, public health specialists, sociologists, statisticians, global health policy experts, psychologists and geographers. We have expertise in different geographical settings (UK, Europe, low and middle income countries, global) and using a wide range of methodologies (qualitative and quantitative). The group has been established to pursue research activities associated with the study of interactions between food, nutrition and society.

Entry requirements for 雪菲爾大學

To be considered for entry to the MD programme you must be:

a holder of an MBChB degree from the University of Sheffield of at least three years' standing or
a recognised graduate in Medicine, with a qualification which confers eligibility for full or provisional registration with the General Medical Council, and a full or part time member of the established or honorary staff of the University of Sheffield or
a recognised graduate in Medicine of at least three years' standing with a qualification which confers eligibility for full or provisional registration with the General Medical Council, and a Higher Degree from the University of Sheffield or another University.
IELTS 7.0 (with 6.5 in each component) or equivalent gained within the past two years, if your first language is not English.
You also need to supply:

a detailed research proposal
