This degree will give you an in-depth knowledge of both economics and accounting. You'll how to use Bloomberg terminals in our Financial Laboratory (FinLab) and may decide to study abroad or take a year in employment. It is ideal for those looking for a career in economic or accounting consultancy.This Economics and Accounting course will give you specialist knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics and the main concepts of accountancy. These will help you better understand the behaviour of individuals and businesses, and the economy as a whole.Optional modules will let you shape your studies around your interests or career plans. These include international banking, risk management or public economics.You'll study in lectures and small classes and our facilities include the behavioural economics lab, and the Financial Laboratory (FinLab). This is a realistic trading room environment, using the most detailed financial data available.

Entry requirements for 南安普敦大學

GCSE - GCSE English grade C or above (or an equivalent standard in other English language qualifications qualifications approved by the University).
GCE A-level :
3 A level subjects: AAB (or ABB with grade A in the Extended Project Qualification). Applicants will require a grade B in AS level Mathematics. Where AS level Mathematics is not available or has not been taken we will consider applicants with alternative qualifications. B grade in A-level Mathematics, Physics or Statistics is accepted in lieu of B grade AS-level Mathematics.

4 A level subjects: ABBB (or BBBB with grade A in the Extended Project Qualification). Applicants will require a grade B in AS level Mathematics. Where AS level Mathematics is not available or has not been taken we will consider applicants with alternative qualifications. B grade in A-level Mathematics, Physics or Statistics is accepted in lieu of B grade AS-level Mathematics.

International Baccalaureate 34 points, 17 at Higher Level and at least 5 points in SL Mathematics (not Maths Studies).
We normally ask for a score of IELTS 6.5.
