Bachelor of Mass Media and Strategic Communication - Journalism and Digital Communication (Martin Campus)

The Mass Media & Strategic Communication Department at UT Martin will show students how to craft their art and will set them on the path to an exciting media career - whether in broadcast, advertising, public relations, or journalism. Students in this program will develop the skills to be creative and analytical storytellers, ignite their passions to engage others, and strive to discover the truth. Media design is a branch of graphic design geared specifically for use in mass-advertising and business. Students in this area gain experience using all facets of the Adobe Creative Suite software (provided on campus) as well as other specialized digital programs to create products for real-world businesses. Items in your portfolio could include business cards, advertisements, newsletters, brochures, postcards, magazine content, social media and website design, and much more.
