Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational and Environmental Health - General Occupational and Environmental Health

The PhD in Occupational and Environmental Health with an emphasis General Occupational Health is designed to prepare students to gain comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures as it relates to developing and managing occupational health programs for large organizations, academia, government and or private industries. Intended for students with extensive or limited professional experience in the area of occupational health, students gain the opportunity to complete broad coursework connected to clinical aspects of occupational injuries and diseases, epidemiology, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, biostatistics, safety administration and occupational health psychology.
This requirement is applicable to students who have successfully completed some of the prior core OEH courses but not all of the core OEH courses. Students may receive partial credit with a decrease in the total number of credits required for the PhD upon evaluation of transcripts by the RMCOEH Faculty Admissions committee.
