Entry requirements for 維多利亞藝術學院

Applicants may apply to enter into Year 1 or Year 2 of the Master of Film and Television. Entry into Year 1 (2-year course) Eligibility requirements are as follows: An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, with a GPA of 65% over the last two years of study, OR At least five years of documented relevant work experience related to film and television, with evidence of artistic ability and achievement or practice comparable to that expected of undergraduate degree holders in relevant disciplines, Entry into Year 2 (advanced 1-year course) Eligibility requirements are as follows: A Graduate Diploma in Film and Television (or equivalent), and A creative folio of past film work completed, and A detailed CV of relevant work experience related to film and television, with evidence of artistic ability and achievement. Entry into Year 1 - SELECTION TEST A Selection Test via SlideRoom. The test assesses each applicant's creative potential and ability to express yourself clearly and distinctively. The Selection Test will be available online in September. Applicants should allow at least two weeks' time to complete the Selection Test. Entry into Year 2 - FOLIO - A Folio via SlideRoom. Submit samples of your most recent film work. You may upload up to 30 minutes of material. Whole works are preferrable to show reels. Applicants are recommended to also complete a Selection Test for Year 1 entry to ensure that you are considered for both year levels. Applicants will be charged an administration fee of: 10USD payable via SlideRoom. If you have completed studies outside of the University of Melbourne, your application must include an officially certified copy of your academic transcripts. If you have successfully finished a course, please provide evidence of completion. If you are currently studying outside the University of Melbourne, please provide an official record/transcript of your current results to date. When your final results are available, please upload a certified hardcopy to your application, or send to fineartsmusic-admisisons@unimelb.edu.au with your University of Melbourne username ID number. If short-listed, applicants will then be required to attend an interview as the third component of the application process. TOEFL – you need a score from a minimum of 577+ including a score of at least 4.5 in the Test of Written English for a paper-based test. Or a score of at least 79 and scores of at least 21 for writing, 18 for speaking, 13 for reading, 13 for listening for an internet-based test. IELTS – you need a score from a minimum of 6.5 or more in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0.
