New Zealand Certificate in Outdoor Experiences (Level 3)

Turn your passion for the great outdoors into a serious career. The Certificate in Outdoor Experiences is a hands-on course that will teach you how to survive and navigate in the wild following the principles of personal safety and kaitiakitanga (guardianship and protection of the environment). You will get the opportunity to experience a wide variety of outdoor pursuits, building your skills and knowledge in both land and water-based activities. Learning is blended with face-to-face classes four days a week and online modules for you to complete at your own pace. You will also have field trips, an overnight camping trip in the bush, practical outdoor pursuits and assignments where you will get the opportunity to put your learning into practice.
