The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at Wayne State University is administered by two departments in the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences: Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Oversight of the program occurs through the associate dean of pharmacy, who serves as the Doctor of Pharmacy program director. They are assisted by the Pharmacy Executive Council (PEC) which consists of the chairs of the departments of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the dean of the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The standing committees of the program are Admissions, Assessment, Awards and Honors, Curriculum, Committee for Academic and Professional Progress (CAPP), Summative Evaluation. The Pharmacotherapeutic Problem Solving (PPS) Oversight Committee and Experiential Committee are sub-committees of the Curriculum Committee.
The pharmacy program also provides opportunities for students to gain experience in community pharmacy practice through affiliations with most major pharmacy chains including CVS, Kmart, Kroger, Meijer, Rite-Aid, Target, and Walgreens as well as with independent community pharmacies in the area.

Entry requirements for 韋恩州立大學
The applicant must have completed (or be pursuing completion of) pre-professional core courses at the undergraduate level, with a grade point average of 2.75 or better, and demonstrated competency in computer literacy, critical thinking, and oral communication.
Minimum core grade point average of 2.75 (on a four-point system), calculated on the final grades earned in the required pre-professional courses. Completion of prerequisites with minimum grades does not guarantee admission.
Minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 (on a four point system).
Promise of success in a professional curriculum. Transcripts are evaluated for evidence of continued success in a full-time, science-based curriculum. Patterns of course repetition and excessive withdrawals are considered. It is recommended that applicants repeat not more than two mathematics and science courses in order to improve grades.
All applicants must take the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT). The PCAT must be taken no later than the year prior to admission. Applicants must have a minimum composite PCAT percentile score of 50.
TOEFL - 79 internet-based (IBTT), 550 paper-based (PBTT). IELTS - 6.5.
