Entry requirements for 韋恩州立大學

The minimum requirements for admission into the M.S. program in biomedical engineering are:

Official transcripts from an accredited institution showing completion of an engineering baccalaureate degree. Students who have a baccalaureate degree from a nonengineering discipline (e.g., life science) will be considered for admission to the program if they have the prerequisite coursework in calculus (1, 2 and Differential Equations) and physics (1 and 2). Students must have passed these courses with a grade of B- or better.
A Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale will be considered for regular admission and GPA between 2.8 and 3.0 will be considered for qualified admission.
GRE scores in the, verbal, quantitative and analytical writing portions of the exam are recommended but not required. However, it is required that all applicants requesting financial assistance submit GRE scores with the following minimum scores on the individual components:
Verbal – greater or equal to 150
Quantitative – greater or equal to 155
Analytical writing – 3.5 or greater
One-page statement of purpose describing their interest in a graduate degree in biomedical engineering.
Letters of recommendation are not mandatory but strongly recommended.

Written Based Test (PBT) > 550 (537-549, conditional admission)
Internet Based Test(IBT) > 79 ( 74-78, can give conditional admission)
No IPT(Institutional Inst. Paper Based Test) TOEFL score accepted
IELTS - Minimum score 6.5
MELAB - Minimum score 8.5
