Start developing your portfolio by continuing your art and design journey. Experiment with physical art techniques - use printmaking and photography to create fresh content for graphic design, illustration or web design. Test your 3-dimensional ideas using laser cutting and 3D printing techniques. Perhaps model making for film or game design is your thing. This programme is studio and classroom based, which allows you to explore and gain skills and is designed for ākonga who are seeking to develop a range of foundational technical skills and conceptual knowledge to produce creative work in arts, crafts, or design. As graduates of this qualification, you will have developed a range of creative capabilities to contribute to community or commercial projects in preparation for further study.
