CAPP-EPAC Award: Bachelor of Science Program Specializing in the Physical Sciences - Physical Sciences

Recipients will be named by a Physical Sciences Department selection committee, comprised of the Department Chair and a continuing faculty member from each of the Physical Sciences sub-disciplines Chemistry, Earth and Planetary Sciences, and Physics.

Successful applicants will be notified via e-mail. Committee selections are final, appeals will not be considered.

Typically given out in the Fall term.

Criteria

To be considered for this award, the candidate must:

• Be a Bachelor of Science student with a declared major in Physical Sciences
• Be enrolled in 24 credtis of baccalaureate-level programming and
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Submit a 500 word essay that outlines their academic and related career goals.

Students may receive this award a maximum of 2 times during their degree program.

• Must be enrolled in 24 credits of baccalaureate-level programming.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
