Goodbody and UCD Smurfit School scholarship competition is open to EU and Non- EU. Citizens who are residents of Ireland except employees of UCD and Goodbody and their associated affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their immediate families, agents, or anyone connected with this scholarship.
The scholarship is open to all candidates who have already submitted an application directly to UCD Smurfit School for August 2024 entry to UCD Smurfit MSc Sustainable Finance Full Time programme.
The Goodbody MSc Sustainable Finance Scholarship will be awarded to the candidate deemed to be of the highest calibre by the UCD Smurfit School. UCD Smurfit School reserves the right not to award the Scholarship prize if no candidate of the required calibre is identified. The decision is final, and any further correspondence will not be entered into.
Candidates should have a university degree with a minimum 2.1 Honours or equivalent
The winning candidate will join the full-time MSc MSc Sustainable Finance Full starting August 2024.
Scholarship consists of 50% of the MSc tuition fees for either EU or non-EU students.
The successful scholar must agree to participate in the following: promotional activities, articles, events and any other ad-hoc promotional activity.
The successful candidates will be the Goodbody UCD Smurfit School Scholarship brand
Deadline for submission of MSc Sustainable Finance Full programme applications: 1st August 2024.
The scholarship winner must have taken and secured the relevant minimum entry score by 1 August 2024.
The scholarship recipients will be selected and informed in August 2024.
Candidates must be available to commence the MSc programme at the end of August

All eligible candidates who complete a programme application for the MSc Sustainable Finance by the deadline of 1st August 2024 will be considered for the scholarship. There is no separate application process for the scholarship.

The Goodbody and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School MSc Sustainable Finance Scholarship will be awarded to a high-calibre applicant who has met all the eligibility requirements for the UCD Smurfit MSc Sustainable Finance Full Time programme.

Candidates Key Attributes:
● Any nationality will be considered.
● Demonstrates leadership in another aspect of their lives.
● Exhibits evidence of driving social change within their community.
● Demonstrates personal and career ambitions in sustainability/environmental finance.
● Minimum 2.1 Honours Undergraduate in any discipline.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate not only an excellent academic record but a capacity to understand emerging business trends and problem solving. Open to all successful applicants for the MSc Sustainable Finance programme (who are EU and Non-EU citizens but who are resident in Ireland for the duration of the MSc Programme).
Successful candidates will be selected on merit, paired with a holistic review of their MSc Sustainable Finance application. The scholarship will be awarded to candidates deemed to be of the highest calibre by the UCD Smurfit Admissions Committee and Goodbody. UCD Smurfit School reserves the right not to award scholarships if no candidates of the required calibre are identified. The decision is final, and any further correspondence will not be entered into.
