One of the largest public colleges in Ontario, Mohawk College offers a vibrant learning experience across four campuses in a beautiful Canadian location.
A diverse institution with over 13,000 students from 90 countries worldwide, the college offers over 150 specialized programs across certificates, diplomas, degrees, degree pathways and apprenticeships. The college's programs are focused on the disciplines of business, communications, community service, healthcare, skilled trades and technology, amongst others.
As Canada's fourth-best research college (Research Infosource 2020), all of Mohawk's courses are fully accredited and funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. It is also a member of the Association of Community Colleges of Canada.
The college has deep roots within the diverse community of Hamilton and prepares student for success and a global outlook. It is the first college in Ontario to receive STAR'S gold rating for sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. This includes a dedicated sustainability team that offers 35 programs that promote sustainable lifestyles.
Blending work-based learning and classroom teaching with modern facilities, programs help students transition into the workplace. The college also provides 33 co-op programs with reputable companies and works with over 1,000 industry partners to develop student's employability.
Located a short distance away from Toronto, the college is based in the city of Hamilton on the stunning shores of Lake Ontario. Students are also conveniently connected to other exciting locations, with Niagara Falls and Pearson International Airport just 45 minutes away.
Within six months of graduating, 86 percent of Mohawk's students have found employment (Graduate KPI Outcomes Survey 2019), which is higher than the provincial average in Ontario, demonstrating their commitment to creating future-ready graduates.
