Noblitt Scholars Program

Launched in 2020, the Noblitt Scholars Program is designed to guide and support highly motivated, self-directed learners as they identify an area of interest to them, develop expertise in that area, and turn their passion and knowledge into action.

40 first-year students are selected each year after a competitive and thorough application process, who together represent a wide range of academic areas and backgrounds.

Noblitt Scholars benefit from access to additional support and resources, in addition to financial assistance and scholarships which can cover the full cost of tuition. Other benefits include leadership training, mentoring from faculty, travel opportunities and more.

Health and wellness certification for RHIT's New Academic Building

Rose-Hulman unveiled the New Academic Building on its Indiana campus in 2021, providing 70,00 square feet of modern learning spaces and exceptional facilities for STEM learning and training. The building offers flexible use classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories across chemistry, biochemistry and food science, as well as innovation and collaboration workspaces.

In 2022 the facility was awarded a Silver level WELL Certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). This recognises the high performance of the building in terms of air and water quality, light, comfort and fitness of the spaces, and additional features that influence the health and wellbeing of visitors.

New Research Fellows Program Launches

In 2023, Rose-Hulman announced the launch of a new research fellowship program offering unique opportunities for impactful research to talented first- and second-year students in STEM.

Rose Research Fellows allows students to enroll in courses which supercharge students' progress in research skills, as well as providing funded experiences for research and exciting new academic networking opportunities.

Commencing in fall 2023, places on the program are limited and admission is competitive.
