SDSU is the flagship research institution of the 23-campus California State University system, offering 24 doctoral programs (including 21 joint-doctoral degrees) and netting 135 million USD in grants and contracts.

With more than 350 student organizations at SDSU, it is easy to find something that suits every student interests. SDSU students are admitted FREE to all athletic events. And at SDSU, every student has the opportunity to train like an athlete in the Aztec Recreation Center (ARC). The ARC is an 80,000-square-foot fitness facility that offers exercise classes, intramural sports, and a rock climbing wall.
