If International: upload copies of all college- or university-level transcripts or mark sheets (records of courses and marks earned), with certi?cates, diplomas, and degrees plus certi?ed English translations.* Official documents are required from all students who are admitted and enroll. Photocopies of certi?ed records are not acceptable. International students enrolled in other U.S. institutions may have certi?ed copies of all foreign records sent directly to the Office of Graduate Studies by their current school?s registrar office. Minimum English proficiency: Paper TOEFL 600, Internet TOEFL100, IELTS 6.5 If you are applying for the Creative Writing program, you should also submit a creative writing sample in the genre in which you are applying. Depending on whether you apply as a Creative Writing Poetry student or as a Creative Writing Fiction/Nonfiction student (see note at the top of the page), the sample should include 12 poems, or no more than 30 pages of fiction (a short work or part of a novel) or creative non-fiction.
You do not need to submit GRE or any other entrance exam scores with your application.
Writing Sample: Provide 15-20 pages of a critical paper in English Studies.

Personal Statement: This statement should be 1-3 pages and include why you want a degree from Nebraska.
Teaching experience or evidence of teaching potential
Three recommendation letters
Other Upload: A summary of your teaching experience or a discussion of your teaching potential, no more than 2 pages.
